Timeline: 4 weeks (2021)

The objective of this project was to create a zine containing a timeline of 4 modernist art movements, with each movement represented in each spread and a unified style maintained throughout.

I wanted to touch on the social/political movements that influenced these movements, so I created backgrounds of abstract brutalist architecture and textures to give an industrial feel, and then played with different typefaces for the titles of each article within the zine to add visual interest. To unify, I used the same typeface for body copy throughout, as well as the same folio and color scheme.
